OUR STORY

Map of Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico

After traveling throughout Mexico and visiting various craft distilleries, sipping hundreds of brands and discovering the rarest of traditional spirits, our founder, Don Maximiliano, was inspired to create a new line of tequila-one that pays homage to the traditions and generations that perfected the craft of making tequila. The result was CasaPuebla Tequila, made from the finest blue Weber agave, born from the luxuriant, volcanic soil of Amatitán, also known as “the little forest of amates”.

Nurtured and harvested in the Lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, crafted at the Tequila Selecto de Amatitán distillery, brought to you in a distinct bottle that features the shape of a maguey, our brand captures the essence of what tequila is all about.

At CasaPuebla we’re more than just producing an amazingly smooth tequila-we want it to inspire you to gather your family, your friends and share experiences, get closer and savour unique moments together.

OUR BOTTLE DESIGN

Black and white photo of CasaPuebla Tequila bottle

CasaPuebla tequila comes in a beautiful bottle called “LA ESPIGA”, named and designed by the late world renowned Mexican architect Don Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, known for hundreds of completed projects and designs, among them Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the holiest structure in Mexico.

He designed this charming bottle making a cut similar to the shape of maguey. From this design, he defined that working with glass was just as “making sculpture with light”.
